Key Components of Volleyball Camp:
Warm-ups & Testing: Initial drills often include pepper, serving, and agility tests (e.g., Coleman-McKenzie) to evaluate ball control.
Skill Stations: Specialized stations for setters, passers, and hitters are used to evaluate position-specific skills and techniques.
Scrimmaging: Players are evaluated in, 4v4, or 6v6 scenarios to observe game awareness, movement, rotation knowledge, and team dynamics.
Attitude & Communication: Coaches often prioritize high energy, loud communication, and resilience after errors over raw skill alone
